Don’t let the rain stop you from enjoying a day of fun with your family. The Honda Pilot can drive through the rain with ease, even if you don’t choose a model with all-wheel drive. With added safety features, like the Auto High-Beam Headlights, safety isn’t a concern, either. So fill up all eight seats in the Pilot and head to one of these rainy day adventures right here in New Jersey.
Hot Sand
If your children are nine years old or older, then consider bringing them and a few of their friends to Hot Sand. This is the first hot-glass studio in the state with public access. Your children will have fun learning about blowing glass and even get some hands-on experience. Best of all, walk-ins are available most days of the week, so you don’t need to make an appointment. There are also a few activities designed for children younger than nine so they don’t feel left out.
iPlay America
No matter the type of activities your family likes best, a day at iPlay America will be a perfect rainy day adventure. This is the largest indoor amusement park in the state, and it doesn’t even charge an entry fee. Instead, you only have to pay for the activities you want to do, making it incredibly affordable. Enjoy laser tag, Go Karts, a 4-D theater, boardwalk mini bowling, and more. Your kids will almost be sad to get in your Pilot and drive home at the end of the day.
Kayla’s Creative Art Studio
This is the ideal destination if you want to have fun while giving your kids something to remember the day by. There are plenty of open studio paint sessions and other creative activities. Thanks to the spacious trunk of the Pilot, you don’t have to worry about fitting your children’s artwork inside, even if you have a car full of kids and stay all day.
Sahara Sam’s Oasis
Sometimes the rain outside doesn’t mean you don’t want to enjoy a waterpark. Instead of letting the weather stop you, take your kids to Sahara Sam’s Oasis. It has 70,000 square feet of indoor water park fun along with an arcade. Some of the outdoor waterpark is even covered so you may be able to enjoy those activities without being rained on.
Sky Zone of Ocean Township
Take your Pilot to Ocean Township to spend a day jumping around at Sky Zone Trampoline Park. This was the very first indoor trampoline park in the world, which started a growing trend across the country. The building has over 35,000 square feet with trampolines and activities for all ages from kids to adults. You can just jump around, play Ultimate Dodgeball, work on your jump shot, or take a fitness class.
Get to these rainy day activities with confidence thanks to the extensive safety features of the Honda Pilot from Garden State Honda in Clifton, New Jersey.
