The holiday season is almost upon us. For many, that means spending time with family, receiving gifts, and perhaps most importantly, devouring delicious treats. Not just for the kids, enjoying wonderful Christmastime sweets is a great way to bond with loved ones and enjoy the time spent together. While scrumptious sweets are always welcome at your family gatherings, you probably won’t want to spend all of your time in the kitchen. That’s why Buzzfeed came up with this helpful list of holiday treats that actually are not as difficult to make as they may seem.
Icing-Glazed Cookies with Holiday Stamps
Holiday stamps are a great way to step up your presentation game during Christmastime. The decorative stamps will make your cookies look like they’re professionally done, and with very minimal effort. Whether you’re using sugar cookies, gingerbread, or even store-bought, you can make the most out of your holiday cookies with a little help from a stamp. To make this work, be sure to get gel food coloring instead of the normal liquid variety. This can be found in most grocery stores, and will really help add a little extra touch to your holiday cookies this Christmas.
DIY Edible Paint
Another great way to boast your cookie decorating skills is by using edible paint. To do this, mix up your edible paints until you get your desired colors. Then, taking an ordinary paintbrush, create your own design on your cookies. This will add a personal touch to your baked goods while also making them look like they just came from a boutique bakery.

Reindeer Nutter Butters
This next one is super easy. You’ll just need M&Ms, pretzels, icing, and Nutter Butters. To create a reindeer look just attach pretzels and M&Ms — using the icing as a glue — to your Nutter Butters in the design of a reindeer face, as well as antlers. This easy-to-make treat is not only fun to make, but also fun to eat.
Enjoy eating these sweet treats with your fam this holiday season!
